| My son's first birthday is coming up next month and I can't believe it. While we were at Wal-Mart tonight we decided to head over to the party section to check out decorations [my step daughter's birthday is soon too, in April]. I started to tear up a little. Call it the pregnancy hormones or new mom syndrome but its kind of a big thing to me. Especially with him being my first child and it being his first birthday. I'm excited and I'm happy. But I can't believe how fast time is going by. I never thought about how your child's birthday may affect you as a parent. Especially a mom. Because you take such a big part and making it happen. How do/did you feel on your child/children's birthday? |

| My family and I just recently moved and haven't had the chance to set up internet. Hence the reason for lack of updates. But I will say this, the new place is great and we had the opportunity of finding out last week that New Baby is a boy! [I'm 17 weeks Friday]. Unfortunately, I'm not sure when my next update will be but I have lots of ideas so don't go anywhere! What have you guys been up to? |

| Reading through my subscriptions I came across one on Momaroo that I liked. A woman said when she was younger she wanted all boys. Mostly because she knew how girls were [being one herself] and she thought little boys would just be easier.
Personally, I would love nothing more than to have all boys. I used to want a girl but I'm, the oldest of four, the youngest being ten years younger than me and a girl and sometimes, I want to kill her. lol I don't get along with girls very well myself. I have a three year old step daughter and let me tell you, this girl has an attitude from hell sometimes. Which isn't uncommon in girls since I know my sister and I did and in coming years, it will only get worse. But I'm prepared to deal with it.
My mommy sense is telling me new baby is a girl. And I have about six and a half more weeks until we find out [or possibly two and a half. I have to have another ultrasound at 16 weeks to check for growth and I'm hoping new baby isn't modest. lol]. I will love the baby either way, boy or girl. However, I want a boy while the husband wants another girl.

| I saw this posted on someone I'm subscribed to on my other blog. His question was, if you could have four hours and unlimited 'adult drinks' with four fellow Xangans, who would they be?
I chose Da__Vinci, TheTheologiansCafe, Innuendo__X, and whisperitloudly. I think these four people will have some interesting things to talk about and it would be an interesting bunch to be able to speak to all at once.
